Amanda is a physician assistant who has a passion for nutrition and lifestyle factors and their role in health, wellness and prevention. This passion stems from her deep connection to nature and the natural world around her. Amanda received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mount Union and her undergraduate degree through Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Amanda started her career in Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic and after 5 years was recognized for outstanding achievement in work ethic, education, and leadership through a professional development award very early in her career. Despite this recognition and early career success, she realized that many patients had chronic diseases that could have been prevented or even reversed by simply bringing the body back into balance using diet and lifestyle interventions. Thus, Amanda decided to follow her passion for nutrition and root cause medical care by pursuing a career that better aligns with her own personal goals and beliefs for the future of medicine. Accordingly, she has immersed herself in the study and practice of preventive, integrative, holistic medicine and that is what led her to VitalHealth Partners and you. Amanda grew up in the rural mountains of western Pennsylvania, is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoys exercise, healthful cooking and now calls northeastern Ohio home with her family.
My wish is to guide patients toward a vibrant life filled with energy, happiness, and longevity by supporting the body's innate ability to heal through proper nutrition and lifestyle modifications that set the foundation for optimal health, wellness and disease prevention.
I have spent my career working in holistic health and wellness and am passionate about holistic health and wellness, both personally and professionally. With decades of experience at upper management in preventive, integrative, holistic medical practices and affiliated medical laboratory establishments, I bring a strong operations based perspective to the team. In addition, I have extensive experience in medical laboratory diagnostics which adds value and depth of practice possibilities for our patients at VitalHealth Partners.
My goal is to ensure a positive patient experience, so I encourage patients to reach out to me with feedback.
After obtaining my nursing degree from Ursuline College, I spent several years working in a hospital setting. I then made the decision to work in holistic health and wellness. Now, with more than 15 years of holistic nursing experience, I know that I made the right decision.
I am passionate about our comprehensive holistic approaches; I enjoy meeting new patients in a positive and healthy environment and administering therapies for their well-being.
I am a teacher, a creator, a problem solver, and a coach. I am passionate about helping people reach their fullest potential through education and encouragement. I believe in the body’s deepest desire to survive and its innate ability to repair itself. I believe that natural is better than synthetic and that working in partnership with the body and its own instinctual momentum is superior to symptom suppression.
As a Health Coach, I work to support our patients on their respective wellness journeys. I encourage patients to reach out to me with any questions so I can provide clarity and assurance whenever needed.
My career has been spent in medical office management. I enjoy working with people and find it fulfilling to play a part in our patients’ journey of achieving optimized health.
My goal in working the front desk is to provide a warm welcome and gracious goodbye. All patients are part of our VitalHealth community, and I want each person to know we are happy to have them.
My passion and purpose are to enable our patients to lead a healthy life. Influenced at a young age by my dad on homeopathic modalities, I have spent most of my life exploring ways to optimize health. In addition to coaching our VitalHeath patients, I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher.
I am focused on breaking down the information and protocols given to our patients, so they feel empowered to manage their wellness. Patients should reach out to me any time with questions or concerns so I can help guide them.
I have been a registered nurse for 13 years and a nurse practitioner for 7 years. Over the course of the last decade, I have come to realize that the body is naturally resilient and extremely powerful. I am a true believer that the best way to combat and prevent most disease processes is with a strong immune system, positive attitude and a healthy mind/body/spirit complex. In my free time, I enjoy nature, yoga, meditation, being with my family, and bringing joy to others.
My goal at VitalHealth Partners is to serve others by delivering individualized natural healing to all I come into contact with. The better you feel, the happier you will be and the more joy we will all bring to the world!
My main interests are human origins, evolutionary medicine and ancestral skills. I am an experienced professor of anthropology, native studies and the health sciences, as well as, an informal science educator for students around the world. I bring a strong management background to the practice with a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management and Leadership. I can usually be found moving about the woodlands and rivers with my nature-loving family and our trusty hound dog, Jango.
I am passionate about changing the health care landscape and connecting patients to a more holistic care paradigm.
